A tactical digital watch face with hexagon frames. A large time inside a long hexagon, the minutes in your accent colour and small seconds on the side. Around it: weather at the top, two fields above the time, three under it, sunrise and sunset, and a ZULU box with UTC time at the bottom.

The face has two separate colour sets. On AMOLED screens the colours are bright on deep black. On MIP screens (fenix 7, fenix 6, Forerunner 245/255 and others) it uses matte, muted tones from the 64-colour palette and thicker lines, so it stays readable in sunlight.

By default it shows temperature with a weather icon, altitude, calories, steps, heart rate, battery, sunrise, sunset and ZULU time. Each of the 8 fields can be changed. You can pick from 33 kinds of data, including energy level, stress, pulse ox, pressure, distance, floors, VO2 max, sleep score, wind, humidity, UV index and chance of rain. A field can also stay empty.

You can also set:

• the accent colour: green, orange, blue, red or sand,
• minutes in the accent colour or white,
• hexagon frames, minute marks and field labels on or off,
• the bottom box: ZULU (UTC) or a second time zone, a data field, or off,
• the label at the bottom: your watch model, your own text (up to 16 characters, typed in the Connect IQ app) or nothing,
• seconds (hidden automatically when the watch saves the screen),
• the thresholds where the battery turns orange and red,
• how long weather data counts as current. The phone sends the weather and the face cannot force it to fetch new data, so older data shows as "--",
• the always-on screen on AMOLED: whole face dimmed (default), time with date, time only or off,
• the date language (13 languages), time format and leading zero.

Everything can also be changed on the watch in Customize, with a live preview on most watches.

Works on 101 Garmin watches: fenix 5 Plus to fenix 9, epix, Enduro, MARQ and MARQ 2, D2, Descent (also Mk2), Approach S50 and S70, Legacy, Forerunner 165 to 970, Venu (also Venu Sq), vivoactive 4 to 6 and Instinct 3 AMOLED. On the square Venu Sq, Venu Sq 2 and Venu X1 the round face sits in the middle of the screen. On fenix 6S, fenix 5 Plus, Forerunner 245/745/945, Descent Mk2 S, Venu Sq and MARQ (first generation) the second time zone is not available, the box shows UTC.

The face asks for location access only to calculate sunrise and sunset on the watch and to tell day from night for the weather icon. It sends nothing to the internet.

Trial: the face works fully for 7 days. In the last 3 days the number of days left appears at the bottom. After that the face shows your Watch ID and dialforge.dev. Buy a code for that number and enter it in the Connect IQ app, in the face settings (Unlock code).

Cyfrowa tarcza w stylu taktycznym, z ramkami w kształcie sześciokątów. Duża godzina w wydłużonym sześciokącie, minuty w kolorze akcentu, małe sekundy z boku. Dookoła: pogoda u góry, dwa pola nad godziną, trzy pod nią, wschód i zachód słońca, a na dole ramka ZULU z czasem UTC.

Tarcza ma dwa osobne zestawy kolorów. Na ekranach AMOLED kolory są żywe, na głębokiej czerni. Na ekranach MIP (fenix 7, fenix 6, Forerunner 245/255 i inne) dostaje matowe, stonowane barwy z palety 64 kolorów i grubsze linie, żeby dało się ją czytać w słońcu.

Domyślnie pokazuje temperaturę z ikoną pogody, wysokość, kalorie, kroki, tętno, baterię, wschód i zachód słońca oraz czas ZULU. Każde z 8 pól możesz zmienić. Do wyboru jest 33 rodzaje danych, między innymi poziom energii, stres, pulsoksymetr, ciśnienie, dystans, piętra, VO2 max, wynik snu, wiatr, wilgotność, indeks UV i szansa opadów. Pole może też zostać puste.

Co jeszcze ustawisz:

• kolor akcentu: zielony, pomarańczowy, niebieski, czerwony albo piaskowy,
• minuty w kolorze akcentu albo białe,
• ramki, znaczniki minut i opisy pól (każde osobno włączysz albo wyłączysz),
• ramkę na dole: ZULU (UTC) albo druga strefa czasu, pole danych albo nic,
• napis na dole: model zegarka, własny napis (do 16 znaków, wpisujesz go w aplikacji Connect IQ) albo nic,
• sekundy (znikają same, gdy zegarek oszczędza ekran),
• progi, od których bateria robi się pomarańczowa i czerwona,
• jak długo dane pogody są uznawane za aktualne. Pogodę wysyła telefon, tarcza nie zmusi go do pobrania nowej, więc starsze dane pokazuje jako "--",
• ekran wygaszony na AMOLED: cała tarcza przygaszona (domyślnie), godzina z datą, sama godzina albo nic,
• język daty (13 języków), format godziny i zero na początku.

Wszystko zmienisz też na zegarku, w menu Dostosuj, na większości modeli z podglądem na żywo.

Działa na 101 zegarkach Garmin: od fenix 5 Plus do fenix 9, epix, Enduro, MARQ i MARQ 2, D2, Descent (także Mk2), Approach S50 i S70, Legacy, Forerunner od 165 do 970, Venu (także Venu Sq), vivoactive od 4 do 6 i Instinct 3 AMOLED. Na Venu Sq, Venu Sq 2 i Venu X1 okrągła tarcza stoi na środku ekranu. Na fenix 6S, fenix 5 Plus, Forerunner 245/745/945, Descent Mk2 S, Venu Sq i MARQ pierwszej generacji nie ma drugiej strefy czasu, ramka pokazuje wtedy UTC.

Tarcza prosi o dostęp do lokalizacji tylko po to, żeby policzyć na zegarku wschód i zachód słońca i odróżnić dzień od nocy przy ikonie pogody. Nic nie wysyła do internetu.

Próba: przez 7 dni tarcza działa w całości. W ostatnich 3 dniach na dole pojawia się liczba dni, które zostały. Potem tarcza pokazuje numer ID zegarka i adres dialforge.dev. Kod kupujesz dla tego numeru i wpisujesz w aplikacji Connect IQ, w ustawieniach tarczy (pole Kod odblokowania).
