A start-line watch face for sailors: a big clock with seconds and a countdown to your race start, readable in bright sun.

• Large digits with seconds next to the time, plus UTC.
• Countdown to the start: type the start time (hour and minute) or a number of minutes. The count shows minutes and seconds, then the time since the start. Restart countdown now (watch menu) runs the same minutes again.
• 5-4-1-0 bar (or 3-2-1-0): warning, preparatory and last minute in their own colours, filled as the sequence runs.
• Battery in percent and in days left.
• Red night mode: automatic from sunset to sunrise, always on, or off.
• Backgrounds: deep navy, pure black or daylight white (white is the easiest to read in direct sun on MIP screens).
• 2 data fields, wind in knots and sunset by default. Also heart rate, steps, temperature, sunrise, pressure, humidity and more.
• Always-on mode: dimmed time and one line with the minutes to the start.

Honest limits: a watch face cannot vibrate, beep or start a timer from a button. This is a visual countdown and does not replace the race timer of your watch. When the screen sleeps, the countdown shows whole minutes; seconds come back when you raise your wrist. Wind comes from Garmin weather via your phone, not from the water. Missing data shows "--".
