A digital watch face in the style of a cockpit HUD. Amber lines on black, the time in two frames, and in the middle a round reactor with a ring of segments and a seconds dot that travels around its orbit. At the bottom, a strip of Earth photographed from the International Space Station.

What is on the face:

• steps and distance at the top, with a 0-100 scale under them showing progress towards your daily step goal,
• the days of the week on the left, today highlighted,
• the time HH MM in frames with AM and PM under them (24H in 24-hour mode),
• heart rate, year, date and temperature with a weather icon on the right,
• status icons: alarm, Do Not Disturb, Bluetooth and notifications,
• the brand label, a battery scale and the percentage at the bottom.

You can change the fields: both at the top, both in the right column, the field inside the reactor (a crosshair by default, as in the original design) and what both scales show. You can pick from 33 kinds of data, including energy level, stress, pulse ox, pressure, calories, floors, altitude, sunrise and sunset, VO2 max, wind, humidity and UV index. A field can also stay empty.

You choose the brand label yourself: your watch model, your own text (up to 16 characters, typed on the phone or picked from presets on the watch) or nothing.

You can also set:

• the colour: amber, cyan, green, red or white,
• the Earth photo or a black background,
• seconds on the reactor orbit (hidden automatically when the watch saves the screen),
• the thresholds where the battery turns orange and red,
• how long weather data counts as current. The phone sends the weather and the face cannot force it to fetch new data, so older data shows as "--",
• the always-on screen on AMOLED: whole face dimmed (default), time with date, time only or off,
• the date language (13 languages), time format and leading zero.

Everything can also be changed on the watch, in the Customize menu, with a live preview.

The padlock from the original design is not here, because a watch face cannot tell whether the phone is locked. A notifications icon takes its place.

Works on 101 Garmin watches: fenix 5 Plus to fenix 9, epix, Enduro, MARQ (including MARQ 2), D2, Descent (including Mk2), Approach S50 and S70, Legacy, Forerunner 165 to 970, Venu (including Venu Sq), vivoactive 4 to 6 and Instinct 3 AMOLED. On MIP screens the colours are matched to the 64-colour display, and on older watches (fenix 6, Forerunner 245, first generation MARQ, Descent Mk2, Legacy, Venu Sq) a line of atmosphere replaces the Earth photo.

The face asks for location access only to calculate sunrise and sunset on the watch and to tell day from night for the weather icon. It sends nothing to the internet.

Trial: the face works fully for 7 days. In the last 3 days the number of days left appears in place of the brand label. After that the face shows your Watch ID and dialforge.dev. Buy a code for that number and enter it in the Connect IQ app, in the face settings (Unlock code).

Co jest na tarczy:

• u góry kroki i dystans, pod nimi linijka 0-100 z postępem dziennego celu kroków,
• po lewej dni tygodnia, dzisiejszy podświetlony,
• godzina HH MM w ramkach, pod nimi AM i PM (w trybie 24 h napis 24H),
• po prawej tętno, rok, data i temperatura z ikoną pogody,
• ikony stanu: budzik, Nie przeszkadzać, Bluetooth i powiadomienia,
• na dole napis marki, linijka baterii i procent.

Pola możesz zmienić: oba górne, oba w prawej kolumnie, pole w środku reaktora (domyślnie celownik, jak na wzorze) i to, co pokazują obie linijki. Do wyboru są 33 rodzaje danych, między innymi poziom energii, stres, pulsoksymetr, ciśnienie, kalorie, piętra, wysokość, wschód i zachód słońca, VO2 max, wiatr, wilgotność i indeks UV. Pole może też zostać puste.

Napis marki ustawiasz sam: model Twojego zegarka, własny napis (do 16 znaków, wpisujesz go w telefonie albo wybierasz gotowy na zegarku) albo nic.

Co jeszcze ustawisz:

• kolor: bursztyn, cyjan, zielony, czerwony albo biały,
• zdjęcie Ziemi albo czarne tło,
• sekundy na orbicie reaktora (znikają same, gdy zegarek oszczędza ekran),
• progi, od których bateria robi się pomarańczowa i czerwona,
• jak długo dane pogody są uznawane za aktualne. Pogodę wysyła telefon, tarcza nie zmusi go do pobrania nowej, więc starsze dane pokazuje jako "--",
• ekran wygaszony na AMOLED: cała tarcza przygaszona (domyślnie), godzina z datą, sama godzina albo nic,
• język daty (13 języków), format godziny i zero na początku.

Wszystko zmienisz też na zegarku, w menu Dostosuj, z podglądem na żywo.

Kłódki ze wzoru tu nie ma, bo tarcza nie wie, czy telefon jest zablokowany. W jej miejscu jest ikona powiadomień.

Działa na 101 zegarkach Garmin: od fenix 5 Plus do fenix 9, epix, Enduro, MARQ (też MARQ 2), D2, Descent (też Mk2), Approach S50 i S70, Legacy, Forerunner od 165 do 970, Venu (też Venu Sq), vivoactive od 4 do 6 i Instinct 3 AMOLED. Na zegarkach z ekranem MIP kolory są dobrane do 64 barw ekranu, a na starszych (fenix 6, Forerunner 245, MARQ pierwszej generacji, Descent Mk2, Legacy, Venu Sq) zamiast zdjęcia Ziemi jest sam łuk atmosfery.

Tarcza prosi o dostęp do lokalizacji tylko po to, żeby policzyć na zegarku wschód i zachód słońca i odróżnić dzień od nocy przy ikonie pogody. Nic nie wysyła do internetu.

Próba: przez 7 dni tarcza działa w całości. W ostatnich 3 dniach w miejscu napisu marki pojawia się liczba dni, które zostały. Potem tarcza pokazuje numer ID zegarka i adres dialforge.dev. Kod kupujesz dla tego numeru i wpisujesz w aplikacji Connect IQ, w ustawieniach tarczy (pole Kod odblokowania).
