An analog watch face in the style of an expedition watch. Hands with lume inserts, applied indices, a compass bezel on the edge and three data windows.

Three styles:

• Classic: green sunburst dial with sand indices,
• Explorer: black dial with white indices,
• Night: black dial, indices and hands in lume colour, windows without rims.

By default the left window shows altitude, the right one temperature with a weather icon, and a small seconds hand runs in the bottom window. The date sits under 12. Each window can be changed. You can pick from 33 kinds of data, including heart rate, steps, battery, energy level, stress, pulse ox, pressure, calories, sunrise and sunset, VO2 max, wind and chance of rain. A window can also stay empty.

You can also set:

• the second hand: in the bottom window, centre or off. When it is not in the bottom window, or the watch is saving the screen, that window shows the data you choose,
• the second hand colour: red, orange, white or lume,
• the date and the watch name under 12 (both can be hidden),
• the thresholds where the battery turns orange and red,
• how long weather data counts as current. The phone sends the weather, so older data shows as "--",
• the always-on screen on AMOLED: hands, indices and windows (default), hands with indices, hands only or off,
• the date language (13 languages).

The compass bezel is decorative and does not move: watch faces have no access to the magnetometer, so this one does not pretend to be a compass.

Works on 90 Garmin watches: fenix 5 Plus to fenix 9, epix, Enduro, MARQ, D2, Descent, Forerunner 165 to 970, Venu, vivoactive 4 to 6 and Instinct 3 AMOLED. On MIP screens (fenix 7, fenix 8 Solar and older) the dial is black, as 64 colours cannot show the sunburst. On the square Venu Sq 2 the round face sits in the middle of the screen.

The face asks for location access only to calculate sunrise and sunset on the watch and to tell day from night for the weather icon. It sends nothing to the internet.

Trial: the face works fully for 7 days. In the last 3 days the number of days left appears under 12. After that the face shows your Watch ID and dialforge.dev. Buy a code for that number and enter it in the Connect IQ app, in the face settings (Unlock code).

Analogowa tarcza w stylu zegarka wyprawowego. Wskazówki z wkładem fluorescencyjnym, nakładane indeksy, pierścień kompasu na brzegu i trzy okienka z danymi.

Trzy style do wyboru:

• Klasyczny: zielona tarcza z promienistym szlifem i piaskowe indeksy,
• Explorer: czarna tarcza i białe indeksy,
• Nocny: czarna tarcza, indeksy i wskazówki w kolorze lumy, okienka bez obwódek.

Domyślnie lewe okienko pokazuje wysokość, prawe temperaturę z ikoną pogody, a w dolnym chodzi mały sekundnik. Pod dwunastką jest data. Każde okienko możesz zmienić. Do wyboru jest 33 rodzaje danych, między innymi tętno, kroki, baterię, poziom energii, stres, pulsoksymetr, ciśnienie, kalorie, wschód i zachód słońca, VO2 max, wiatr i szansa opadów. Okienko może też zostać puste.

Co jeszcze ustawisz:

• sekundnik: w dolnym okienku, środkowy albo wyłączony. Gdy sekundnik nie siedzi w dolnym okienku albo zegarek oszczędza ekran, okienko pokazuje wybrane dane,
• kolor sekundnika: czerwony, pomarańczowy, biały albo fluorescencyjny,
• datę i nazwę zegarka pod dwunastką (obie da się schować),
• progi, od których bateria robi się pomarańczowa i czerwona,
• jak długo dane pogody są uznawane za aktualne. Pogodę wysyła telefon, więc starsze dane tarcza pokazuje jako "--",
• ekran wygaszony na AMOLED: wskazówki, indeksy i okienka (domyślnie), wskazówki z indeksami, same wskazówki albo nic,
• język daty (13 języków).

Pierścień kompasu jest ozdobny i stoi w miejscu: tarcza nie ma dostępu do magnetometru, więc nie udaje kompasu.

Działa na 90 zegarkach Garmin: od fenix 5 Plus do fenix 9, epix, Enduro, MARQ, D2, Descent, Forerunner od 165 do 970, Venu, vivoactive od 4 do 6 i Instinct 3 AMOLED. Na ekranach MIP (fenix 7, fenix 8 Solar i starsze) tarcza jest czarna, bo 64 kolory nie oddają szlifu. Na kwadratowym Venu Sq 2 okrągła tarcza stoi na środku ekranu.

Tarcza prosi o dostęp do lokalizacji tylko po to, żeby policzyć na zegarku wschód i zachód słońca i odróżnić dzień od nocy przy ikonie pogody. Nic nie wysyła do internetu.

Próba: przez 7 dni tarcza działa w całości. W ostatnich 3 dniach pod dwunastką pojawia się liczba dni, które zostały. Potem tarcza pokazuje numer ID zegarka i adres dialforge.dev. Kod kupujesz dla tego numeru i wpisujesz w aplikacji Connect IQ, w ustawieniach tarczy (pole Kod odblokowania).
